| Major tasks and responsibilities | : | Overall responsibility for the Clerks Room as well as being the First point of contact for 17 members of Chambers. Member of the Management Board. Martin would be happy to discuss any aspect of chambers; his Direct Dial is 020 7421 1803. Martin enjoys playing and watching all forms of sport, playing badminton, tennis and golf when possible. In his spare time he enjoys family life, reading, gardening, walking and traveling when time allows. |
| Previous positions | : | Martin first joined these Chambers at 8 New Square in 1976 (Head of Chambers Alan Fletcher) as the junior clerk. In 1980, he joined the Chambers of Denis Cowley Q.C (Francis Taylor Building) as First Junior Clerk. Martin rejoined these chambers in 1981 and was promoted to First Junior Clerk 1984. 1989 Martin was appointed Senior Clerk. |
