Clare was called to the bar in 2005 having read law at Oriel College, Oxford, where she obtained a first class degree.

Since joining chambers in 2006 Clare has been developing her practice in all areas in which chambers accepts instructions. Clare regularly appears for and against local authorities in the Magistrates, County, Crown and High Court, as well as at planning inquiries, in the LVT and other tribunals.

Clare has a particular interest in administrative law.

In such spare time as she has, Clare is learning Welsh.
